How to delete the passkey from your device

When you delete your /prznt account, everything you made here is gone from our side. The passkey is different. It lives on your device or in your password manager, and only you can remove it. We can't reach it, which is the point of a passkey — but it does mean the last step is yours.

Here's how, on whatever you used.

Apple — iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Passwords and unlock with Face ID or your passcode.
  3. Search for prznt.
  4. Tap it, then tap Delete Passkey. Confirm.

If your passwords sync through iCloud, deleting it here removes it from your Mac and iPad too.

Apple — Mac

  1. Open the Passwords app.
  2. Unlock it with Touch ID or your password.
  3. Search for prznt.
  4. Select it, then click Delete Passkey. Confirm.

On macOS Ventura or earlier, this lives in System Settings → Passwords instead.

1Password

  1. Open 1Password on any device.
  2. Search for prznt.
  3. Open the item, then choose Delete from the item menu.
  4. Empty the Trash in 1Password to remove it for good.

If you saved it to a shared vault, check that nobody else still has it.

Google Password Manager — Android or Chrome

  1. Go to passwords.google.com, or open Chrome and go to Settings → Google Password Manager.
  2. Search for prznt.
  3. Open it and select Delete. Confirm.

If you signed in by scanning a QR code

The passkey was saved on the phone that did the scanning, not on the computer in front of you. Nothing was left on that computer. Pick up the phone and follow the Apple or Google steps above.

How to be sure it's gone

Search your password manager for prznt one more time. Nothing found means nothing left.
